Always chasing a dream and constantly updating my goals
It had always been my dream to live in the USA. I was only 12 years old when I started falling in love with this country. After 14 years preparing for it and trying different things, I finally made it here. I applied for a Computer Science MS at
NYU and the day I got accepted was probably the happiest day of my life.
Over three years have passed since then, and although older and wiser, my enthusiasm has only grown since. During my time here I got to meet amazing people, different cultures and live unforgettable experiences.
I started my professional career as a telecommunications engineer because I knew I wanted to be continuously challenged and I love the need of being constantly updating myself.
I was introduced to programming while pursuing my Telecommunications Engineering degree. And even during my time as a telecom engineer, I kept working on personal programming projects. While I enjoyed my work and loved the people I worked with,
I felt that still there was something missing.
But it was not until a couple of years later that I decided to change careers and focus on what I really loved: being a developer in the USA.
I am passionate about what I do, hard working, autodidact, and persistent. I am a quick-learner and like to explore new options and alternatives as crazy as they might seem at first. The most innovative solutions are normally found when two (apparently)
completely different disciplines meet somewhere in the middle.
My biggest personal interests are the media industry, TV/movies, music, politics, news, marketing, and software development.
